'My Drawing - Our Support': Sarajevo Children Express Solidarity with Children in Gaza

(Patria) - Students of the "Sokolje" Primary School (OŠ) in Sarajevo have expressed great solidarity with the suffering of people in Gaza.

Their support for Palestinian children was demonstrated by the students of "Sokolje" Primary School through the realization of the humanitarian project "My Drawing - Our Support", via a sales exhibition of art works and a special program.

"By purchasing works, for which you set the price yourself and put the money into the branded Pomozi.ba box, you are helping the children of Palestine who greatly need our support," said the young students from Sarajevo.

The idea for the project "My Drawing - Our Support" originated from the students' desire to contribute to raising awareness among the BiH public, primarily their peers, about the tragedy unfolding in Palestine through their solidarity.

Their wish is for all children in the world to have equal rights, and most importantly, the right to life, survival, and development. The project began at the start of March, and the closing event was held yesterday.

"We are honored that the Ambassador of Palestine, Rezeq Namoora, graced our humanitarian project with his presence. Also present were parents, staff, students, friends of the school, representatives of the media, and the Pomozi.ba Association.

We are glad that this initiative took place during the holy month of Ramadan. Thank you to everyone who supported us and participated, and we hope that the aid will reach the children of Palestine.

We were guided, and will continue to be guided, by the message 'Goodness is repaid with greater goodness'," stated the "Sokolje" Primary School in Sarajevo.
