Mogherini in Sarajevo on March 2nd, meetings with leaders of ruling parties?

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, March 2, 2017. She will first meet with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then address students of eight public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. High Representative and Vice-President Mogherini will also meet with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, two Deputy Chairpersons of the Council of Ministers, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

The first meeting will be with members of the Presidency of BiH. Mogherini will give a lecture at the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo. This will be followed by a meeting with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić, Deputy Chairpersons of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Vjekoslav Bevanda and Mirko Šarović, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak.

Mogherini, together with Zvizdić, will address the media at 12:45 PM in the BiH Parliament building.

Ahead of her visit to the Western Balkans, High Representative and Vice-President Mogherini stated that for the European Union, working with the Western Balkans – a region located in the heart of Europe – is a key priority.

- I am working with the desire to see progress on the reform path of each of the Western Balkan partners, towards the European Union, to ensure that this process moves forward relentlessly. Regional cooperation and good neighborly relations continue to be extremely important in this context.

Although there is no official information from the EU Delegation, there is a possibility that Mogherini will also hold meetings with leaders of ruling political parties at the EU Delegation building.

SNSD President Milorad Dodik announced that Željka Cvijanović will present SNSD's positions, given that he is traveling to Moscow.
