Criminal police officers of the Doboj CJB and the Modriča Police Station conducted searches at four locations in the Modriča municipality, due to reasonable suspicion that certain individuals are engaged in the cultivation, processing, and sale of narcotic drugs, reports the Patria News Agency.
During the search of a house used by A.T. as a member of the family household, 30 grams of green plant matter were found and seized, which, according to its morphological characteristics, corresponds to the narcotic drug marijuana. Specially equipped rooms for processing narcotic drugs were also found in the house.
On the property near the family house, remnants of plantations with parts of harvested Indian hemp were found. The found and seized narcotic drug, as well as the evidence collected from the scene, will be sent for expert examination.
A.T. underwent criminal processing. After documentation, a report on the committed criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs will be submitted to the District Prosecutor's Office of Doboj, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
