Young man Bego Klempić needs help from good people

Bego Klempić, a 30-year-old young man from Tuzla, who apart from his mother Fatima has no one else, needs help from good people, reports the Patria news agency.

Bego's father Hakija was brutally killed with thousands of Srebrenica victims, and the daily shelling, hunger, fear, expulsions... have psychologically affected Fatima's son Bego, who was born in 1985 as a healthy child.

- When he was nine months old, he had brain inflammation. After that, Bego functioned normally. Until the expulsion, refugee life, loss of his father - says Fatima Klempić.

Bego's health condition worsened in 2002 when he had to undergo emergency heart surgery in Slovenia. Fatima took out a loan of 5,000 KM, while good people collected the remaining 20,000 KM through humanitarian actions.

Now Bego needs help from good people. He needs 6,000 KM to go to Istanbul where he should undergo diagnostics, because doctors in Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot currently adequately determine what is happening with Bego. He is losing weight and is very ill.

- I ask all good people to help Bego. He is a wonderful young man and apart from his mother, he has no one in the world. He is constantly at the doctor, but his condition is extremely poor. He has been to Turkey before, but now he needs to go again - says Emina, a woman from Sarajevo who visited the Klempić family.
