Young man jumps off bridge in Bistrik, taken to hospital in serious condition

Shortly after 6 PM, the duty officer at the Operational Center of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton received a report that an unidentified young man had fallen from the bridge in Bistrik, Put Mladih Muslimana street, reports the news agency Patria. 

The young man was taken to the Emergency Medicine Clinic of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. He has sustained serious injuries and diagnostics are underway. 

Officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton conducted an investigation. There are indications that this was a suicide attempt. 

In July 2013, a suicide from the bridge in Bistrik was carried out by A.E., born in 1962 in Sarajevo, and in March 2012, by a young man M.K.
