Young man fired a gas pistol near Butile barracks after wedding

On Friday, November 27, 2015, around 14:40, the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP KS) was informed that in Butilska bb street, near the BiH Armed Forces (OS BiH) "Butile" barracks, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, firearms were used by an unknown person, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Upon arrival at the scene, police officers from the Third Police Station found six shell casings of unknown make and caliber. No one was injured, and no material damage was caused.

While working to clarify the incident, police officers from the Third Police Station learned that after a wedding ceremony, an unknown person fired a pistol.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and an investigation was conducted by the investigation team of the Sarajevo Canton MUP.

On the same day, in the Vogošća municipality, police officers from the Third Police Station found the person who used the weapon. It was determined to be B. S., born in 1990, from Hadžići, who told the police officers that he had fired a gas pistol and voluntarily surrendered a gas pistol of the brand "Ekolfirat compact", caliber 9 mm PAK. He was then taken to the police station where he was processed for suspicion of causing general danger.

We remind you that last Friday, an unknown man fired a shot from a gas pistol in front of the Butile barracks, which was also confirmed by the BiH Minister of Defense Marina Pendeš. He arrived in front of the barracks in a gray car without license plates.

It is evident that the case has only just been reported to the competent authorities.
