Young people in Konjic reject emigration trends and launch their own businesses

(Patria) - Konjic is seeing positive examples of young people who, despite the trend of emigration, are choosing to stay and launch their own businesses.

Among them are Muamer and Dženana Boloban, a young married couple who have started livestock production with the support of the local community and city programs for young entrepreneurs.

Muamer Boloban points out for BHT that the initial support was crucial for starting their business. He says that with the city's start-up program, they received significant help, and with good organization and additional work, he believes a stable life can be achieved from this business.

A similar example is Velid Sultanić, who returned to Konjic after working abroad and started a craft workshop. He points out that the funds and support enabled him to purchase equipment, and he plans to hire additional workers.

The City of Konjic says that through various subsidies and programs, they are trying to retain young people and create conditions for their stay and development.
Mayor Osman Ćatić emphasizes that investments in young people are simultaneously investments in the future of the city, and that such projects are key to the economic and social development of the local community.
