(Patria) - In tribute to their tragically deceased fellow citizen Erdoan Morankić, a peaceful gathering called “Unity in Silence” began today at Trg mladih in Brčko, in front of the City Gallery building.
Among those gathered were young people, high school students carrying Erdoan's photos and messages. They left flowers and candles on the city fountain in the square, and other citizens joined the gathering. Morankić was a third-year painting student at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Sarajevo and was gifted in other forms of art. His colleagues from the Academy paid tribute to him in their own way with an artistic performance on Saturday.

Morankić passed away on February 12th in a tram accident in Sarajevo when, for reasons yet to be determined, a tram derailed and hit the tram stop near the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Morankić died at the scene, and 17-year-old Ella Jovanović was seriously injured.
Morankić's funeral prayer was held and burial took place in Brčko on February 15th.
At the same time, several protest rallies were held in Sarajevo, and the KS Government has been in resignation since Sunday, February 15th, after Prime Minister Nihad Uk resigned.
