(Patria) - Within the project implemented in cooperation with the Institute for Youth Development KULT, with the financial support of the European Union, two educational workshops and a round table were held for young entrepreneurs and individuals planning to start their own businesses.
The focus of the activities was on strengthening specific knowledge and opening a dialogue about the obstacles young people face when starting and developing business ideas.
As part of the educational segment of the project, workshops were held on the topics of “How to Build Trust Through Digital Marketing” and “Basics of Photography for Small Businesses,” where participants had the opportunity to learn through practical examples how to build brand credibility, increase market visibility, and improve the visual presentation of their products and services.
“Young entrepreneurs often have a good idea, but they lack support in the first steps – how to communicate the value of their product, how to build trust, and how to position themselves in the market. That is precisely why we focused on practical knowledge that they can immediately apply in their business,” stated Dalila Šečić, president of the association Mapa kulture.
The final activity of the project was a round table with councilors and representatives of the local community, where administrative procedures, the status of supplementary activities, and ways to facilitate the transition from idea to sustainable business were discussed.
“A large number of successful businesses start from a small idea and a home workshop. Our goal was to open space for constructive dialogue and point out the need for systemic support for young people who want to stay and build their future here,” stated Armin Bečić, project coordinator.
During the discussion, it was emphasized that it is necessary to simplify administrative procedures, improve access to information, and enable greater availability of support for young entrepreneurs, especially in the early stages of business.
The project also included three inspiring stories of young entrepreneurs, which served as motivation and examples of good practice, but the central focus was on education and institutional dialogue.
The organizers state that this is just the beginning of a broader initiative aimed at creating a more favorable business environment for young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
