Youngsters from BiH and the region hone goalkeeping skills

The second international camp for football goalkeepers in Sarajevo and Vogošća was officially opened on Sunday, August 2. Young participants of the camp from all over BiH and the countries of the region had their first lessons yesterday at the Ozren stadium under the supervision of Enver Lugušić, coach of our national team, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Numerous prominent figures attended the official opening, including Gabriele Kowal-Manderla, Chancellor of the German Embassy in Sarajevo, and Susanne Mattis, cultural attaché at the German Embassy.

The camp lasts until August 5, during which time young goalkeepers just starting their careers will hone their goalkeeping skills under the guidance of a team of goalkeeping coaches, including Vukašin Petranović, under the supervision of Enver Lugušić. Today at 6 PM, they will have a conditioning and fitness training session with Prof. Dr. Lejla Šebić at the “Yellow Fortress”.

It is important to emphasize that this year the project's friend is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, and support for the organizer, the sports organization “Management&Promotion Team”, was also provided by national team captain Edin Džeko, Asmir Begović, Slobodan Čobo Janjuš, and Zdravko Čolić, who was once considered one of the most promising goalkeepers in Yugoslavia and trained in the youth academy of Željezničar.
