The residents of Mostar's suburban settlement of Raštani have had another sleepless night. Due to heavy rain and the lack of a storm drainage system, the settlement is completely flooded, reports the Patria News Agency.
According to the residents of Raštani, the same problem occurs after every rainfall. Huge amounts of water flow into the settlement and completely block the area. Access to the settlement is completely blocked, and the torrent carries everything away; basements, garages, houses, cars, and other property are submerged.
They also point out that local authorities are doing nothing and that they are only remembered before elections, as is usually the case in our country.
