(Patria) - Residents of Donja Jablanica and its surroundings, most affected by the catastrophic floods that hit BiH on October 4, gathered again today for peaceful protests to express their dissatisfaction with the authorities' treatment regarding aid and infrastructure reconstruction.
As N1 reports, citizens gathered again today and sent messages to the authorities regarding the treatment and aid in damage repair after the floods.
“The floods are over, but you are drowning our hope,” one of the slogans at today’s rally.
They also briefly blocked the M-17 road, and after police warnings, they continued their march towards the train station. The railway reconstruction in Komadinovo Vrelo has not yet begun, and the FBiH Government dismissed the Railway Management this week.

Otherwise, several dozen citizens and employees of “Željeznice Federacije BiH” and the company “Gikil” gathered in Donja Jablanica for peaceful protests on Thursday, November 21.
The railway in Donja Jablanica, a settlement in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina most affected during the floods in October this year, has not been repaired to this day, which is why residents have protested before.
Those gathered in Donja Jablanica stated that, if necessary, they will come themselves and start clearing the railway destroyed by floods and landslides on October 4.
A total of 27 people died in the floods and landslides that hit Herzegovina and central Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 4, and the total damage amounts to 270 million marks (about 138.5 million euros).
