Metropolitan Mihailo: We must have the genocide committed against Bosniaks in textbooks

Metropolitan Mihailo, the supreme head of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, speaking to „Bošnjaci.net“, said that he moved freely around Bosnia and Herzegovina but not around Montenegro, reports Patria.

- The Serbian Orthodox Church considers me their main enemy. That is why my freedom of movement around Montenegro is restricted. I only move with constant escort that protects my physical integrity. The latest outbursts of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Bijelo Polje and Kotor confirm this. Unlike such circumstances in Montenegro, in BiH I moved freely and was welcomed by your people and citizens on several occasions when I paid respects to the victims of Srebrenica.

Free in BiH, but not in Montenegro

Animosity towards other peoples is the main driver of Serbian nationalism, which develops and spreads, mainly, under the influence and patronage of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Such attitudes towards non-Serb peoples are a consequence of intolerance towards the national and religious diversity among numerous peoples in Serbia, the Balkans, Europe, and the world. According to Metropolitan Mihailo, forgetting crimes hides many dangers.

- The aggressive and militant Serbian Orthodox Church not only does not regret the victims and does not apologize for the evil and crime committed in Bosnia, Croatia, and Kosovo, but it covers it up and falsifies indisputable facts, doing everything to make it forgotten. And forgetting crimes is a prolonged, or rather a new crime that leads to future crimes, in fact, a repetition of tragic history. Therefore, according to many, forgetting crimes is more dangerous than a series of already committed crimes. Naturally, in all of this, the main goal of the former, current, and future aggressor is to conceal the active and one of the leading roles of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the genocide against Bosniaks, reports Patria.

Genocidal intentions of the Serbian Orthodox Church and SANU

It is necessary to include the complete truth about the tragedy of Bosnia in school programs, which is the mandatory study of the genocide against Bosniaks, so that it can never happen again to anyone. In this, one should follow the example of the Germans confronting the consequences of World War II and the peaceful and great policy of Willy Brandt.

The intentions of Serbia, the Serbian Orthodox Church, and SANU as bearers of the Greater Serbia project are not only aggressive but also genocidal. At their core and in their ultimate message and goal, i.e., intention, is not only the occupation of peoples and countries in the region but also their denationalization, as in the time of Tsar Dušan.
