Mirza Čelik joins Democratic Front

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mirza Čelik, a representative in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, signed an application for membership in the Democratic Front today. The signing of the application took place at the Party Headquarters in the presence of the President of the Democratic Front, Željko Komšić, Secretary General, Dženan Đonlagić, and President of the Cantonal Board of KS, Albin Zuhrić.

On that occasion, Mr. Čelik emphasized that he decided on this move primarily because he believes that the Democratic Front is a state-building party, that it is a political organization free of crime and deceit, and that it is led by a proven patriot, Željko Komšić. Every new member at this moment means the expansion and strengthening of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian, patriotic front in defense of the integrity and sovereignty of our homeland, and we are witnessing it facing its greatest existential challenge.

Furthermore, the priority in the work of the Democratic Front remains the fight for workers' rights and insistence on public administration reform, in which trade unions will be our partners in achieving these goals.

The arrival of Mr. Čelik in our ranks certainly means that we are a party of clear and pure motives and principles, which has known how to sacrifice its own political rating for the interests of the state, has survived and remained on that path, which could not have happened without the support of true patriots, and it is evident that such pure politics yields results. This is confirmed by Mr. Čelik's joining the Democratic Front today, it was announced from the DF.
