Following the terrorist act of killing three Muslim students in the USA, a peaceful gathering will be organized today from 1 to 2 PM in front of the BBI Center, on Sarajevo Children's Square.
The organizers of the gathering, AKOS (Association for Culture, Education and Sports) and the Association "Svitanje" Sarajevo, want to send a message to the world that human life is equally valuable and that it should be treated as such in the media as well.
On this occasion, flowers will be laid at the Memorial to the killed children of besieged Sarajevo, with a reminder that those children also innocently perished in Sarajevo during the war, and after the war, as was the hate crime when sixteen-year-old Meliha Durić was killed by a single shot in Vlasenica, for which no one was held accountable and no one mentions it.
