The Association of the Palestinian Diaspora in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the citizens' association Svitanje will organize a peaceful walk for Gaza in Sarajevo today, from Sebilj to the BBI Center, announced these associations, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).
The gathering is scheduled at the Sebilj plateau at 1:45 PM. Media statements and addresses by the organizers will take place in front of the BBI Center at 2:45 PM, and the event will conclude at 3:00 PM.
- It is high time for the international community and liberals around the world to raise their voices and tell Israel enough of injustice, oppression, burning, and killing, and to support the right of Palestinians to an independent and sovereign state like all other peoples in the world," the organizers' statement reads, among other things.
The organizers invite citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially Sarajevans, to participate in the peaceful walk, because, as they said, „Sarajevans know best what a siege is!", Patria reports.
