Minister Šarović receives award for development of the trade industry

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović has been awarded a special recognition for development and contribution to the trade industry, at the fifth FMCG Summit by NLB Banka, held in Sarajevo. The conference was attended by more than 400 participants, representatives of the largest companies in BiH, distributors, manufacturers, representatives of retail chains, as well as representatives of leading companies from the region, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH announced. 

During the award ceremony, it was emphasized that Minister Šarović is „recognized as a minister who is fully dedicated to his work and under whose mandate numerous new markets were opened, new standards were achieved, and record exports were realized.“ 

Thanking for this valuable recognition, the minister pointed out that he is particularly pleased that the ministry he heads has been recognized in recent years as „the ministry for good news“ and that the quality of his work has been most recognized precisely by the businessmen he sought to enable to work and progress. „The economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proven resilient to all political challenges. Businessmen understand each other best, and our duty, as decision-makers, is to provide them with conditions for work and stable operations,“ emphasized Šarović.

The fifth FMCG Summit discussed current topics, both regionally and globally, concerning trends and development of Central European retail and key growth opportunities in Central Europe.
