To look each other in the eye costs 400,000 KM. This is how the intention to reconstruct the hall of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska could be briefly described. The money has already been secured, and the plan is for ministers to sit on one side and MPs on the other, ATV reports, as conveyed by the Patria News Agency.

The parliamentary leadership will be somewhere in between, and in the end, it could all resemble the Serbian Assembly or the Croatian Parliament. The competent parliamentary commission has already discussed everything, ATV has confirmed. Spomenka Stevanović from DNS explains that this is not a new idea at all, and the plan dates back to earlier years.

- I think they were planned for last year, but it wasn't realized, and the planned funds are around 400 thousand marks, which means they can be more or less, which means that based on this decision, an international tender will be announced and the best offer will be sought, says Spomenka Stevanović, MP of DNS in the National Assembly of RS.

Spomenka Stevanović explains that the reason for the reconstruction is the worn-out equipment in the hall. The microphones don't work intermittently, and there's no help for them. It's about outdated technology, so there are no parts that could keep them functional, they complain in the service. Stevanović does not specify when the workers will enter the hall, but says that the work could be completed by the end of the year.
