Ministry of Health: We will find the best solution for the reconstruction of the Emergency Medical Services building

(Patria) - Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton Enis Hasanović visited yesterday the Institute for Emergency Medical Services "Prim.dr. Silva Rizvanbegović".

With director Jasna Husejinbegović-Musić, he toured the Institute's building and discussed the capacities of this institution, which is of utmost importance for Sarajevo Canton.

“The Ministry of Health continuously carries out activities for the procurement of equipment and ensuring staff and all necessary resources for improving the work of all healthcare institutions in the Canton of Sarajevo, but the special focus of my today's meeting with the director was on the topic of reconstruction of the Emergency Medical Services building, which represents the first such step since its establishment,” emphasized Minister Hasanović.

The Government, the Ministry of Health, and the Institute for Emergency Medical Services, together with representatives of the Institute for Construction of Sarajevo Canton, are negotiating ways to implement this complex project.

Minister Hasanović expressed the commitment of the Government and the Ministry to find the best solution that will, above all, enable the continuous operation of this institution, which must be at the service of the citizens of Sarajevo Canton 24/7. On the other hand, it is necessary to allow the unobstructed renovation of spatial capacities, which will lead to improved working conditions for the employees of this Institute, and ultimately the best healthcare services for the citizens of Sarajevo Canton.
