(Patria) - Following the tragic event at the Home for the Elderly in Tuzla, the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton expressed deep condolences and solidarity, making all resources available to help the injured and mitigate the consequences of the accident.
"We received the news of the tragic fire at the Home for the Elderly in Tuzla, in which lives were lost, with deep regret.
The Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton, Enis Hasanović, immediately contacted the Minister of Health of Tuzla Canton, Dušanka Bećirović, and Prof. Dr. Igor Hudić, Medical Director of the Tuzla Clinical Center, to provide full support and assistance in caring for the injured and mitigating the consequences of the accident.
The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton is making all its health capacities available and expresses its readiness to provide all necessary professional, logistical, and human assistance in coordination with colleagues from Tuzla Canton.
In these difficult moments, our thoughts and hearts are with the families of the victims, the injured, and all healthcare workers who are making superhuman efforts to help.
We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims. We wish the injured a speedy and full recovery," stated the KS Ministry of Health.
