Ministry of Health KS: Investigate and Sanction Emergency Service Employee Who Took Money

(Patria) - The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton has been informed by the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service Institute about an extremely disturbing incident involving one of the employees of the Sarajevo Emergency Service.

"According to the information provided, one of the employees of the Sarajevo Emergency Service allegedly took money from an 80-year-old woman while providing first aid. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable and contrary to the fundamental principles of humanity and professionalism that we expect from Emergency Service employees.

The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton strongly condemns such actions and immediately demands a swift and impartial reaction from the Emergency Medical Service Institute. Incidents like this undermine public trust in our healthcare system, and we demand the quickest possible reaction from the competent authorities.

We emphasize that the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton has zero tolerance for any form of abuse of position or violation of ethical principles within the healthcare sector. Our goal is to ensure high quality and professionalism in providing healthcare services to our fellow citizens.

We hereby call on the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service Institute to conduct a thorough investigation of this case as soon as possible and to take all necessary steps to ensure the preservation of the integrity of the Emergency Service employees. We expect those responsible to be adequately sanctioned, and that this Ministry will be informed of all the above.
