The Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, thanks to the engagement of Minister Adil Osmanović, today distributed corn seed material to the Posavina Canton, writes the Patria News Agency.
The municipalities of Orašje, Odžak, and Domaljevac-Šamac were covered, and seed material for approximately 3,000 hectares was provided for these municipalities. The Ministry secured assistance in cooperation with the FUCZ and the FBiH Commodity Reserves.
Earlier, the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees provided assistance in seed material for the villages of Hrvatska Tišina, Šamac municipality, and Bočinje with surrounding returnee villages, Maglaj municipality.
Corn seed material was also provided for the Local Communities of the Doboj municipality, Janja, Bijeljina municipality, Zvornik, Bratunac, Lopare, Ugljevik, Vlasenica, Osmaci, etc. Today marked the final activities regarding the distribution of seed material, as the deadline for replanting has almost expired.
