Ministry of Education of KS: We are deeply concerned about violence at the First Bosniak Gymnasium

(Patria) - After media reported that one of the students at the First Bosniak Gymnasium in Sarajevo reported being a victim of a physical attack by older students, the Ministry of Education and Science of KS has issued a statement.

"The Ministry of Education and Science has received information about the incidents of violence at the First Bosniak Gymnasium and we express our deep concern.

We strongly condemn all forms of violence against or among children and emphasize that such behavior requires serious attention from all professionals in the education system, families, and the wider community.

The school is ensuring proceedings in accordance with the current regulations to establish all circumstances and ensure adequate responses.

We strongly appeal to the media to refrain from speculating about motives until the competent institutions have determined the circumstances of these events," the Ministry stated.
