Ministry of Education of Sarajevo Canton: Shortened classes remain until December 30

The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton informs that until the end of this semester, i.e. until December 30, 2016, the previously defined measures for primary and secondary schools of Sarajevo Canton remain in effect, prescribed by the Plan of Intervention Measures in Cases of Excessive Air Pollution in Sarajevo Canton, after the WARNING episode was declared yesterday, Patria reports.

Accordingly, it is necessary to organize the teaching process in the most efficient manner, they state from this ministry, and remind of the following:

1. The teaching process will be adjusted so that regular classes end by 5:00 PM;

2. Extracurricular activities will not be carried out,

3. Children with health issues will be allowed to be absent from classes, and

4. Students will not spend free time between classes in open school areas.

The Ministry calls on all citizens of Sarajevo Canton to adhere to the measures prescribed by the Plan of the Government of Sarajevo Canton for episodic situations.
