Minister Šimunović: 266,700 KM for the Reconstruction of Returnee Infrastructure

(Patria) - In the premises of the Ministry of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, a ceremony was held for the conclusion of contracts for co-financing projects for the reconstruction of infrastructure in returnee local communities between the Minister of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees, Antonio Šimunović, and representatives of the project holders.

The total value of the concluded contracts amounts to 266,715.52 KM, as follows:

• Contract for co-financing the II phase of the project "Asphalting and Reconstruction of the Road in Alići, Dolina-Alići Local Community" City of Zavidovići in the amount of 49,987.08 KM

• Contract for co-financing the project "Infrastructure Development in Slatina Local Community – Reconstruction of the Sports Playground", Municipality of Teslić in the amount of 33,381.39 KM

• Contract for co-financing the project "Construction and Reconstruction of the Local Road Liješnica-Fojnica, Municipality of Maglaj" in the amount of 50,000.00 KM

• Contract for co-financing the project "Reconstruction of the Sewerage Network in Novi Šeher Local Community, Municipality of Maglaj" in the amount of 45,000.00 KM,

• Contract for co-financing the project “Reconstruction and Adaptation of the Building next to the City Mosque in Bratunac”, Municipality of Bratunac in the amount of 44,242.73 KM,

• Contract for co-financing the project “Renovation of the Facade of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary”, City of Zenica in the amount of 44,104.32 KM,

With the approved co-financing, the realization of the program goals of the relevant Ministry and the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton continues, and the commitment to investing in infrastructure and creating prerequisites for the sustainable return and stay of the returnee population in their pre-war places of residence is confirmed.
