Turkish Minister of Defence Akar to visit BiH at the end of the week

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Defence of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday. During the visit, he will meet with the Minister of Defence of BiH Sifet Podžić, as well as with the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić. He will stay in BiH until Tuesday. 

Two days ago, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Senad Mašović visited Turkey, where he met with Akar.

Minister Akar emphasized on that occasion that Turkey attaches great importance to the peace, stability, and integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He also expressed the need to accelerate activities on strengthening bilateral military cooperation and cooperation in the field of military education.
