Minister Kurić to reward young swimmer Ismail Zulfić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Young Ismail Zulfić, a swimming superhero from Zenica who achieved another victory last weekend at a regional competition in Zadar, and his coach Amel Kapo were hosted today by the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Mirvad Kurić.

The eight-year-old boy, a member of the Swimming Club "Spid" Sarajevo, overcame the competition in the 50-meter backstroke event, bringing another victory to his club and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We are proud of your successes and results, but also of everything the club does and what makes it unique in BiH and beyond. It is our obligation to create conditions for your work and provide support because you are truly unique in many ways, our best representatives in the world and the brightest part of our BiH reality," said Minister Kurić on this occasion. He announced that the Ministry will continue to support the work of SC "Spid" and will also financially reward this brilliant boy. He wished him many more sporting successes, as well as his friends.

There is no rest for this successful boy. After Zadar, he will travel to Slovenia, where a new competition awaits him, the coach stated. He does not hide that he eagerly awaits to try to swim first there as well. In gratitude for the Ministry's continuous support to this club, a letter of thanks was presented to Minister Kurić on this occasion.
