Minister Isak: We will work maximally on prevention

(Patria) - The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ramo Isak, stated that after the attack in Bosanska Krupa, police forces will increase their presence on the ground, meaning the level of security has been raised to a higher level.

"The police will be maximally present on the ground to apprehend all persons who commit criminal offenses. We will work maximally on prevention as much as can be done in such cases.

Everything else is within the jurisdiction of the prosecutor's office and the courts, which should impose maximum sentences," Isak told BHRT, emphasizing that the police will do everything to bring security to an even higher level.

On Thursday evening, a 14-year-old entered the police station with a knife and killed one police officer and wounded another. This criminal offense has been classified as terrorism.
