Minister Helez and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasanov visited the company 'Igman' in Konjic

(Patria) - Minister of Defense of BiH Zukan Helez and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov visited the company “Igman” d.d. Konjic on November 12, 2025, accompanied by a high delegation of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, including two generals.

During the visit, the delegation from Azerbaijan was introduced to the rich tradition and modern achievements of this successful company, which is one of the pillars of the defense industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Minister Hasanov and the delegation members expressed great impressions of what they saw, particularly highlighting the quality, technological equipment, and expertise of the employees of the company “Igman” d.d. Konjic.

"In recent years, the defense industry of BiH has been achieving exceptionally good results, which clearly shows that this sector can be one of the foundations of our country's economic progress.

As the Minister of Defense, I regularly discuss opportunities for cooperation and strengthening our defense industry at all international meetings and gatherings, because I believe that Bosnia and Herzegovina has the potential to become a recognized and respected partner in this field.
