Minister Adnan Sirovica opened exhibition on the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide

(Patria) - A photo exhibition dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide was opened in the gallery of the Zenica Synagogue, organized by the Archives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the "Preporod" Gallery Zenica, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the genocide.

The exhibition was opened by the Minister for Veterans' Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Adnan Sirovica, and it displays the scale of the crime through 30 poignant photographs from 14 mass graves from the archives of the FBiH Archives and the Potočari Memorial Center.

Minister Sirovica said that the exhibition is "a reminder of the painful past, but also a message about the importance of truth, education, and lasting remembrance".

- Considering the systematic denial of the Srebrenica genocide, projects like this and similar ones are of exceptional importance, and of course, the ministry I lead will provide the necessary support. The Srebrenica genocide has been proven by the judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and its perpetrators have been convicted before domestic and international public opinion - said Sirovica.

He congratulated the Archives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Potočari Memorial Center on their dedication to documenting the Srebrenica genocide and invited citizens to visit the exhibition.
