Milošević avoided the Hague stamp of the greatest Balkan executioner through mysterious death

Eighteen years have passed since the mysterious death of the accused before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.

According to official information from the Hague Tribunal, Slobodan Milošević died of heart failure.

However, controversies still exist today regarding the death of the greatest executioner of the twentieth century in the Balkans.

Some theorists claim that he was relocated to Russia and died there in 2011.

Tahirović: We continue our struggle

Nevertheless, regardless of how Milošević ended his life, it remains a regret that he did not live to see the verdict of the court in The Hague, after which much in these parts would certainly have been clearer.

His death left behind many tragedies, great wounds that his verdict would have stamped on an era, on an executioner.

For us, it remains to continue the struggle to prove crimes and insist that perpetrators of the most severe forms of war crimes be prosecuted, especially those who sowed death in UN-protected zones: Srebrenica, Žepa, Goražde, Sarajevo, and Bihać.
