The Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina got a new president today, confirmed the former president of ASABiH Božidar Matić for the BH News Agency Patria (NAP). However, he did not want to say who was elected.
However, as we have learned, the only candidate for this position at today's assembly in Sarajevo was academician Miloš Trifković, dean of the private law faculty Apeiron in Travnik, and it is thus clear that he received support for the position of president of ASABiH.
Matić, who was at the head of ASABiH for eight years, was not nominated again for this position. Trifković is a legal expert who has been a member of the presidency of ASABiH since 2009, and a corresponding member of the academy since 2008, NAP reports. Adila Pašalić-Kreso and Lidija Lincender - Cvijetić were elected as vice-presidents of ASABiH.
