One Million KM for Private Defense Industry

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The government of Fadil Novalić is awarding non-refundable grant funds for the defense industry, specifically for companies that are majority privately owned.

The government has secured a total of one million KM for this purpose. The program lasts until the funds are spent, and no later than the end of 2018. 

According to the published call, companies with at least 20 employees are eligible to participate.

The funds can be used for hiring new workers, development projects, introducing new technologies, or, as further stated, for improving the general economic situation.

On the other hand, companies from the defense industry that are majority state-owned believe the government's decision is unfair.

The government, they emphasize, encourages the work of private companies, while simultaneously, through poor decisions and incompetent government personnel, undermines the operations of defense industry companies that are majority state-owned.
