In Canton Sarajevo, which only two months ago Schmidt's tricolors declared European, announcing EU prosperity and democracy, a PROTEST FOR BETTER EDUCATION was banned today.

The protest was banned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo, and the relevant union states that they are unaware of the reason, as there have been no problems, let alone riots, at their previous protests.

The European Convention on Human Rights, which is superior to the BiH Constitution in strength, guarantees all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina the right to assembly. However, conventions, the Constitution, and other legal norms are useless when the MUP KS, headed by NiP's Admir Katica, provides for autocracy and repression.

Last week, we wrote about the unprecedented repression carried out by the MUP of Canton Sarajevo against Sarajevo fans. Those responsible from the MUP blamed the fans, who had not committed any offense.

Following that repression against fans, we witnessed several arsons in KS, and last night we witnessed the kidnapping of a foreign national in Ilidža. Likewise, the presence of foreign nationals in strange attire walking in the narrower center of Sarajevo and promoting something known to them is noticeable.

We continuously witness shootings, clashes, and bomb attacks. Until today, the citizens of Canton Sarajevo were not safe, and they clearly expressed it; from today, they are not only unsafe but also prevented from defending and seeking their rights.

It is evident that serious panic has gripped the ruling oligarchy of the NiP, SDP, NS regime package, so the authorities are trying to maintain some semblance of security and normal conditions through complete repression and force.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Admir Katica, will probably go down in history as the head of the MUP with the most repressive measures, while his mandate is marked by complete insecurity.

Given that Katica and the MUP he leads are unable to ensure the safety of citizens, and the streets of the capital and metropolis are almost empty in the evening hours, we can expect Katica to introduce a curfew. That is, a ban on movement from sunset to sunrise.

What else he will ban in the process of raping democracy and human rights, we can only guess, but what is very certain is that he will not put an end to crime. It hasn't stopped for years since he has been at the head of MUP KS, and it won't stop in the remaining two years. It is now definitively clear that Katica has dedicated himself most to the procurement of a helicopter, which will not fly over Sarajevo for a long time, nor will it help citizens feel safer.

Finally, I cannot help but wonder if the MUP KS, as well as the under-capacitated KS Government, are afraid of the protest for better education. Because, for months, on these and other media pages, there have been writings about suspicious diplomas and various other forgeries of their cadres whom they have appointed to various positions.

Is the 'trojka' government afraid of a process in which education will try to recover from the collapse caused by their minister Naida Hota Muminović and a future in which people with knowledge and credibility will lead the processes? Probably afraid, because they have shown that they have almost none!

That's why they are banning protests, because elections are coming, and the Sarajevo tricolors are more than aware of their complete political ruin!
