(Patria) - Citizens of Teslić, as well as SDS members, gathered in front of the house of Milan Miličević, the mayor of Teslić and president of SDS, while his house is being searched. According to available information, he is still at home, although the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs announced this morning that three people have been deprived of liberty and will be handed over to the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office after criminal processing.

The president of the SDS parliamentary group in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Ognjen Bodiroga, reacted to the news of the arrest of the party's president, Milan Miličević.

"Is SDS and Milan Miličević also guilty of the 'two stooges' affair? The perverted system spares no effort to prove through its maniacal-dictatorial actions that they are a great evil that has befallen the Serbian people in Republika Srpska. The mistreatment of a man and his family in their family home is a red line below which go those for whom nothing is sacred," he stated.

Bodiroga claims that there is a whole range of buying deputies, councilors, mayors...

"You also have examples from the last local elections where many councilors switched mostly to the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) for privileges; are there elements of a criminal offense there and who is guilty of it? SDS will stand by Milan Miličević, this is no longer about a political fight but about a fight for the freedom of Republika Srpska. SDS is determined and ready to embark on a final fight for freedom and liberation from the cruel dictatorship that this perverted system is implementing," he stated.

In the same operation, councilors Meša Jašarević and Mehmed Dubravac were deprived of liberty along with Miličević due to alleged bribery and corrupt activities aimed at changing the majority in the Teslić Municipal Assembly.

A new councilor majority was formed in the Teslić City Assembly around the SDS, after SDA councilor Meša Jašarević joined them on May 22. The session was interrupted on the same day, and a report of a planted explosive device was received.

Jašarević joined the councilor club consisting of independent councilor Slaven Jelić and HDZ 1990 councilor Igor Balukčić, who support the local SDS.

The President of the City Assembly, Dragutin Škrebić, subsequently interrupted the session due to, as he explained, the disturbed security situation, as SNSD councilors requested the police to determine the circumstances under which Jašarević joined the new assembly majority.

The assembly majority consists of SDS councilors with 11 councilors, and one councilor each from the Movement for Teslić, HDZ 1990, SDA, and independent councilor Slaven Jelić.
