Miličević sent a letter: Dodik's policy, colored by corruption, fear, and divisions, is pushing Republika Srpska into an abyss

(Patria) - The president of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) Milan Miličević addressed the citizens and said that today in Republika Srpska, challenges that threaten the entity's survival are being witnessed.

In a letter to the citizens, Miličević stated that RS is facing great challenges and dilemmas.

"The BiH Court's verdict against the president of RS is something we unequivocally condemn, because he acted according to the Constitution. But there is something even more dangerous than that verdict - the moves of that same Milorad Dodik, a man who does not fight for RS, but for himself.

His policy, colored by corruption, fear, and divisions, is pushing Republika Srpska into an abyss. Dodik has turned RS into his own world where everything is subordinate to him and his power. For years, he has told you that without him there is no Republika Srpska, that he is its only protector. But ask yourselves: if after 20 years of his rule, Republika Srpska is so fragile that it depends on one man - what has he done all these years? What kind of RS is it if it is not a home for all of us, but only his personal shield?", said Miličević.

He points out that the daily struggle of citizens has been pushed aside.

"While he talks about his 'struggle', you are struggling to pay bills, buy basic groceries, educate your children, or find a job. Your daily struggle has been pushed aside, because he has imposed that we all deal only with him - what will happen to Dodik, not what will happen to us. What he is doing clearly shows his nature - he calls traitors everyone who refuses to serve him, belittles professional and honest people, and persecutes anyone who thinks differently through the media and police. This is not the Republika Srpska we built! This is the regime of a coward, not a free RS. He betrayed everything we fought for - he called the first president of Republika Srpska to go to The Hague, ousted the second president from power, destroyed everything in his path to gain power, he admitted genocide, transferred competencies to Sarajevo. Today, he is ready to sell the natural resources of Republika Srpska to foreign countries, just to stay in power", he stated.

Miličević also stated that the results of Dodik's rule are visible.

"The results of his rule are before us: half-empty schools, the departure of young people, experts, lack of investments. During Dodik's rule, RS has become half-empty, and people live in fear. He has turned a freedom-loving RS into a place where hope is extinguished. Republika Srpska can and must once again be a place where children are born, where schools and factories are built, where everyone has their chance! The Serb Democratic Party is here to protect you. To all those whom Dodik threatens - do not be afraid!

We are with you and we will fight against his betrayal and manipulations! He has no right to use our RS as a means for his personal interests - it belongs to you, the people who created and defended it! Dodik and his regime are not Republika Srpska. Republika Srpska is you! You are its strength and its future", concluded the president of SDS, Milan Miličević.
