(Patria) - Milan Miličević, president of the SDS, commented for "Nezavisne" on the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH to ban his party from running in the upcoming local elections.
He said that he has not yet seen the decision and cannot comment on it, but expressed his belief that voters will have the opportunity to vote for them in October, either based on the election application they submitted, or on a new list under a different name, which has also been registered.
He said that the SDS will fight with all means to challenge this decision through the courts.
"We believe that we, as a party that is not banned, are discriminated against, along with our hundred thousand voters who are being prevented from expressing their political will," he told "Nezavisne".
If they are forced to run in the elections under a "reserve name", he said that their participation in the elections will be significantly hindered, but that it will not prevent them from running.
