Milić, Mahmutović and Hasaković Discussed the Importance of Buying Domestic Products with the Audience

Sweden, a country of peace and prosperity, and one of the leading world economies, has one similarity compared to Bosnia and Herzegovina – successful and hardworking entrepreneurs, as well as strong domestic brands. This was the conclusion of the round table discussion "Let's Be Swedes, Let's Buy Domestic", held last night in Sarajevo, which was attended by journalist and editor Goran Milić, writer Muhamed Mahmutović, and director of corporate communications of AS GROUP Adis Hasaković, reports the Patria News Agency.

Participants of this forum discussed the Swedish success and the chances for BiH through an interactive approach with the audience. Sweden has impressive economic and social results, thanks, among other things, to the developed consumer awareness of buying domestic products.

- With domestic forces and intellect, Bosnians and Herzegovinians can live much better, and by buying domestic products, they can best help their homeland. BiH has potential, especially in food production, and among the best examples is AS GROUP with brands Klas, Vispak, Sprind, Kent, Master, and Oaza. This group can produce large quantities of quality and healthy food, in a complete system from the field through the processing industry to the brand on the shelves. This system is a great opportunity for the development of the entire food industry in BiH - said Adis Hasaković, director of corporate communications of AS GROUP.

Goran Milić and Emina Džaferović, a student from BiH living in Sweden, summarized in an interesting way all the differences between young people in BiH and Sweden.

- Young people in Sweden receive a monthly allowance from their parents in the amount of five dollars, and they are not ashamed to work as waiters, janitors, or delivery drivers, all to secure additional pocket money for themselves. Their parents do not buy them apartments and cars, their parents do not secure jobs for them, and yet they all live luxuriously - said Emina Džaferović.
