(Patria) - Independent delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Zlatko Miletić was a guest on BHRT's show "Morning for All", where he spoke about the blockade of the work of this house, but also about the upcoming General Elections.
Miletić announced that he will not run for the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH, emphasizing that he previously linked such a possibility to Dragan Čović's candidacy.
"I said I would run if Dragan Čović ran," Miletić stated.
He also revealed that he had received three offers from political parties in the Federation of BiH to be their candidate for the Presidency. Commenting on the current candidacies, he stated that Slaven Kovačević's candidacy is legitimate, while he described Darijan Filipović as "Čović's bridesmaid", adding that, in his opinion, HDZ had better solutions for that position.
Speaking about the failure to hold sessions of the House of Peoples of the PSBiH, he also referred to Safet Softić's statement about the possible dismissal of the Collegium members, Dragan Čović and Nikola Špirić.
"That would be difficult to implement, and even if it happened, the question arises how the new members would behave. I assume that the avoidance of sessions would continue, but all possibilities within the Rules of Procedure should be exhausted to force them to participate in the work," said Miletić.
He also added that Čović should take over the position of the Speaker of the House of Peoples in 45 days.
Miletić reminded that he had previously reported Nikola Špirić for abuse of office, but that he had never received a written response from the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
