Milan Savić's stoppage-time goal secures victory for the Dragons

(Patria) - The young national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina came back from behind to defeat Montenegro 2-1 tonight at Grbavica in the qualifiers for the U21 European Championship.

We witnessed a poor footballing display, especially in the first half, but in the end, we were still treated to drama and an incredible victory for the Dragons.

Montenegro took the lead with a goal from Nikola Krstović in the 42nd minute, and the Dragons' equalizer came from a gift by the visiting goalkeeper Danilo Nikčević in the 62nd minute. He was playing around with the ball in front of his goal, and Amar Memić took it from him and sent it into the net for 1-1.

In the 92nd minute, Begić intercepted a pass from the visiting players, then hit the post, and the ball rebounded to Milan Savić, who secured a 2-1 victory for BiH in stoppage time.

With three points, BiH moved up to third place in the standings with a total of 8 points, while Montenegro has one less.

Overall, throughout the entire first 45 minutes, we saw a very poor performance from both teams. The game was fought hard and mostly played in the midfield, and the most either team managed until the very end of the first half was a few crosses that didn't trouble the opponent.

The first shot on target was taken by Vukotić in the 37th minute, but Belmin Dizdarević saved it without any problems.

Montenegro took the lead in the 43rd minute when their captain Nikola Krstović scored. He headed the ball beautifully after a cross from the right side by Pešukić. It was 0-1.

At the very end of the first half, Montenegro had a few more attempts, but Dizdarević's net did not shake again.

The first excitement in front of Montenegro's goal came in the 61st minute when Amar Begić headed the ball after a free-kick, but he did it very poorly and the ball went wide of the goal. A minute later, the Dragons equalized.

Montenegro's defense was playing around, and the persistent substitute Amar Memić took the ball from goalkeeper Nikčević and sent it into the net for 1-1! Belmin Mešinović, who also came off the bench, quickly threatened afterwards.

In the 67th minute, BiH was wronged. Memić was heading towards the visitors' goal alone, and Zaim Divanović fouled him as the last defender, but the referee didn't even show a foul...
