(Patria) – US Vice President Mike Pence and his wife will be tested for coronavirus after a member of his staff was diagnosed with the virus.
Pence himself shared the news at a daily briefing at the White House, adding that they would be tested even though the White House physician does not consider it necessary.
"Given the unique position of the Vice President and the leader of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, my wife and I will undergo testing," Pence explained, Reuters reports.
