Mijatović: I'm not politically wise enough to thank 'friends', a new betrayal of our country is being prepared

(Patria) - Following a new round of negotiations on amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Vice-President of SDP BiH, Vojin Mijatović, has spoken out.

"I watched them yesterday arriving in black limousines for negotiations about the future of the country. In their own country, from the car doors to the entrance of the European Commission delegation building, they are escorted by dozens of security personnel. Who are they protecting themselves from, who are they afraid of?

And all these limousines and security forces are paid for by citizens who have been struggling month after month to survive in the country of Serbs, Bosniaks, and Croats!

The masters of our lives who have held us captive for the last 3 decades, are negotiating the future in their own country?

In the next few days, a new betrayal of our country is being prepared. Those who swear by BiH will agree to have even less of it in order to stay in power, and those who spit on it and trample it will agree to live in it conditionally for the same reason of staying in power.

This is not a fight for the national rights of ethnic groups in BiH as they claim, this is a fight to defend what has been stolen from the people and to remain in power.

So, that's why we won't negotiate. Criminals are not negotiated with, criminals are put in prison!

I should be politically wise and thank, as some say, the 'friends' from the international community who are helping us. I would gladly do so, but only after they explain to me how it is possible to negotiate and sit with those who are accused of high corruption and crime, have been sanctioned, and are carrying out a coup against the constitutional order before our very eyes.

Europe, if that is the case, why are you prosecuting secessionist Charles Puigdemont? Why don't you negotiate with him about changing the Constitution of Spain and the secession of Catalonia?", Mijatović stated.
