(Patria) - Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton Zlatko Mijatović visited the Municipality of Ilidža, and during his visit, he signed a Co-financing Agreement with the mayor of this local community, Nermin Muzur, for the project of infrastructural development in the business zone “Famos”.
The Ministry will co-finance the project of reconstruction and upgrade of public lighting in this Industrial Zone with 100,000 KM, and the remaining funds will be provided by the Municipality.
The Ministry of Economy considers the Municipality of Ilidža a strategically important area because, as emphasized on this occasion, with its natural resources, it possesses incredible tourism potential.
It is worth mentioning that this municipality ranks second in the FBiH in terms of tourist overnight stays, which is an impressive figure.
“Although it is at an enviable level, tourism in this municipality must not be the only direction in which it develops. Ilidža must have modern and well-maintained industrial zones that will attract investors from all over the world and where they can do business without obstacles,” it was stated at this meeting.
As Minister Mijatović pointed out, through the conversation with Mayor Muzur, a common direction of thinking and goal of action for the Municipality and the Canton was recognized.
“Our common goal is progress and development, we want to make Sarajevo Canton a more pleasant place to live and do business, and we will continue to work intensively on that,” said Minister Mijatović.
