Mijatović: Enough hollow talk, a message from Gradiška that the state is built through deeds

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - SDP Vice President Vojin Mijatović sent a message after the appointment of the party committee leadership in Gradiška.

"Last night in Gradiška was not just another successful SDP forum and just another party gathering. Last night in Gradiška, a gathering of people who want a shared life took place, a gathering of people showing how a state is built.

Last night, Armin Hamzić, Denisa Delić, Dino Hotić, Elvir Lović, together with their families, friends and fellow citizens, showed the most beautiful face of the town of Gradiška. 

Last night, in the full hall of the Cultural Centre in Gradiška, Bosniaks, Serbs and Others showed that it is possible to be a citizen of BiH while remaining a Bosniak and a Serb, and most importantly, to be a human being.

Unlike those who turn Bosniaks in the Republika Srpska into Palestinians in their own state, unlike those who visit Bosniaks in the Republika Srpska when incidents occur only to collect political points in Sarajevo, we build the state through deeds and shared life.

These are my fellow citizens, my sisters and brothers, not some returnees; these are people I live with and who share both good and bad with me.

I am proud of all these people and I stand firmly behind every one of them. We have decided not to leave our country and we have decided to create Bosnia and Herzegovina together, through deeds and not hollow stories", Mijatović stated.
