Mijatović: Dodik is broken and rejected, for a better BiH let us be better people

SDP Vice President Vojin Mijatović commented on the sanctions against Milorad Dodik, as well as the pre-Christmas atmosphere in Sarajevo. We transmit his post in full.

"There is that old folk saying 'Don't, and then don't be afraid'.

Last night, for the hundredth time, I confirmed to myself that the SDP BiH is more than a party; it is a gathering of the best people in this country.

Last night in Sarajevo, with my comrades from Stari Grad, we celebrated the upcoming Orthodox Christmas in a beautiful, dignified, humane way.

As I walked through Baščaršija, dozens of Sarajevans stopped me with a smile, sincerely greeted me, and wished me a happy upcoming Christmas.

And while I felt exactly as I should, like a man at home in his own country, somehow satisfied with the fact that in these difficult times we Bosnians and Herzegovinians are the best people in the world, I watched the press conference of the member of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik.

I watched a destroyed, broken, rejected man who has now officially received a slap from civilization, received contempt and ostracism without the right to return.

I watched the people around him, who like hyenas with fake smiles are only plotting how to distance themselves from him and how to escape the impending flood.

I only thought, 'Don't, and then don't be afraid'.

Today is Christmas Eve according to the Julian calendar, I wish all people in BiH and around the world to spend today with their families, friends, neighbors.

Long live our Bosnia and Herzegovina, and may we for centuries to come celebrate both Christmases, Bajrams, Easters, and Easters together in peace and prosperity. Let us be better people and we will be better!" Mijatović said.
