(Patria) – EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier has tested positive for coronavirus.
He announced on his Twitter profile that he feels well and is in 'good spirits', and that 'he is following all instructions', as is his team.
Barnier tells everyone who is also infected or in isolation 'we will get through this together'.
He is not the first EU official to be infected with the coronavirus.
The EU and Great Britain now have more than 70,000 cases, with thousands of new ones every day, while no new cases are appearing in China's Hubei province.
