(Patria) - The Severe Weather Europe service announces that the coming days across southern and central Europe, as well as the Balkans, will be marked by "extreme temperatures". They will rise up to 20 degrees Celsius, which is up to 15 degrees warmer than the average for this time of year.
However, such weather will only last until Tuesday, reports N1 Croatia.
After Tuesday, a cold wave from the Arctic will arrive in Europe, according to Severe Weather Europe. Significantly lower temperatures will first affect central Europe, and then spread to the Balkans.
Severe Weather Europe also announces large amounts of snow in the Alps, and does not rule out snow in the western Balkans, Germany, France, the Czech Republic and Poland.
Meteorologists do not yet predict how long this cold wave will last.
