At the Athletics Tournament in Istanbul, our shot putter Mesud Pezer took second place.
Pezer achieved this success just one day after winning the Balkan champion title.
Today's throw by our record holder was 20.60 m, the same as the first-placed Romanian competitor, but since the Romanian made that throw in the first round, he thereby took first place ahead of our athlete, announced Pezer's PR team.
There is no rest for our record holder; he continues with intensive training because already on Wednesday, February 21, he is expected to perform at the Athletics Meeting in Belgrade.
