Mesihović for NAP: Three people from Sarajevo have mild clinical symptoms, were under epidemiologists' supervision

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Rusmir Mesihović, Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton, told the Novinska agencija Patria that three people in Sarajevo infected with coronavirus are from the cluster in Konjic, specifically from the unfortunate party where the anniversary of the Igman company was celebrated.

"All three people, which is most important, have very mild clinical symptoms and have been sent home for isolation," said Mesihović, emphasizing that all three infected individuals had been under epidemiological supervision for the past five days.

"Everyone is in good condition, and the most important thing is that they are being monitored. Epidemiological services continue to work," said Mesihović.

The Minister points out that all people, including everyone from the party in Konjic, or those who have traveled to infected countries, should report to epidemiological services for self-isolation.

"Take care of your health and the health of others, please be careful. Strictly follow all decisions and recommendations," said Mesihović.

Regarding testing, Mesihović emphasizes that there is a doctrine according to which work is done and that it has proven successful.

"The most important thing is that testing is carried out in certified laboratories, which are the private polyclinic Alea and KCUS. Testing will also start at the General Hospital next week," said Mesihović, calling for calm, composure, and responsibility from the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, as well as the entire Federation and BiH.

"There will be enough tests, don't worry. All measures have been taken, we are using all connections to procure tests. Another 5,000 tests are coming. There is no need to panic, be careful and follow the recommendations. We have also included private healthcare institutions that have the capacity for testing in the entire process," added Minister Mesihović.
