Mešić: We must have insight into the new bill on excise duties

Mirsad Mešić, president of the SDP Club, after a meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić, where the possibility of adopting the law on excise duties was discussed, said that the SDP still remains of the opinion that they will not support the legal solution that has fallen several times before the parliamentarians.

Mešić pointed out that Zvizdić did not present anything new today compared to previous proposals for which the SDP did not vote in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.

Also, he confirmed that Zvizdić did not present them with the provisions of the new proposed set of laws on excise duties, which the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, as he says, expects to be adopted by the end of October, so the SDP will only be able to take a final stance on this issue once they have insight into the new proposal.

- As for the current law, the one that was rejected, we do not support it. As for any future solution, we must know what is being proposed – said Mešić.
